| Greetings from Rock Mountain! I am pleased to announce that I have accepted the position of Camp Director at Rock Mountain Bible Camp. It has been a joy to serve as the Program Manager leading and developing the programs, seasonal staffing, family campground, and activity resources at Rock Mountain the last twenty-one years. Thousands of youth, families, and churches have been able to experience truth, community, and change through Jesus Christ. All glory to God for His work in lives through the ministry at camp! I am excited to step into the role of Camp Director. It will allow me to pursue further growth and development of the ministry opportunities that Rock Mountain provides. There are many adjustments that will need to be made over the next few months since this decision is so close to the busy summer season. I plan to keep my Program Manager “hat” on, while sharing some key areas of responsibility with the full-time staff team during this busy season. We have a well-trained and capable crew. The summer seasonal staff will also be a key piece to completing the puzzle. I plan to hire a new staff member to join our team at Rock Mountain this fall, Lord willing. The exact role will be determined by the greatest need within the year-round staff team. Please pray for my wife, Katrina and I as we adapt to this new opportunity to serve at Rock Mountain. We are asking God for wisdom, clarity, and courage as we press into the next phase of ministry at camp. Thank you! |
