Dear Rock Mountain Family,

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:9-11

These verses from Paul’s letter to the church in Philippi were the focus of our youth programs, adventure trips, campground devotions, and our staff discipleship efforts this year. God used this prayer to encourage each camper and staff to live out the gospel in their daily lives through the overflowing love of God graciously given to us through the Lord Jesus.

We had the blessing of seeing many campers repent of their sin and come in faith to Jesus for salvation. All glory and praise to God!

We had the privilege of watching our staff team display the fruit of Christ’s righteousness as they humbly served the needs of campers and guests. All glory and praise to God!

We had the amazing opportunity to partner with gospel-centered and biblically grounded churches.  Sweet songs of worship were lifted to God, Scripture was faithfully proclaimed, prayers of commitment were offered up, waters of baptism were entered into, and Christian fellowship was fostered at camp. All glory and praise to God!

As we rejoice in God’s work this year, please join us in this prayer:

“Thank you, Lord for the blessing of providing these opportunities to experience Truth, Community, and Change through Jesus Christ at camp.  May Rock Mountain be a catalyst for spiritual transformation that leads youth, families, and churches to become lifelong, committed followers of Jesus. All glory and praise to you!  Amen.”

As 2023 concludes, and we look ahead to 2024 , will you join us in these opportunities to overflow with the love of Christ to the campers, guests, and staff at Rock Mountain?

STAFF HOUSE 2023 (UPDATE):  Yes it’s still here. And yes, we still NEED to replace the 1970’s single-wide mobile home that Nathan Bundy, our Guest Service Manager has been graciously residing in since May.  We still plan to purchase and install a new home in its place. This new home will provide a more comfortable and efficient living space for Nate as he diligently serves guests at camp.

We praise God for the 50 individuals and churches who have given $27,196 towards this project.  We continue to ask God to provide the remaining $62,304 needed to complete it. We are praying that this home will be 100% funded by supporters of Rock Mountain.  Join us in providing this needed housing for our staff!

2024 CAMPERSHIPS: As inflation impacts our costs to provide the camp experience, we anticipate an increasing need for camperships. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for 2024. Your overflowing gift to this fund removes the financial barriers to attend Rock Mountain.

JOIN OUR TEAM: There are many ways to join our team.

1) GIVE financially on a regular basis or with a one-time gift to Rock Mountain on our Financial Support Team,

2) SERVE on our Staff & Volunteer Team, or

3) SPREAD THE WORD to youth, families, and churches in your area to attend a camp program, the family campground, or partner with Rock Mountain as a host for a camp or retreat.

Your overflowing support makes the camp experience possible!
