This past weekend was the first of two THAW Youth Group Weekend Retreats at Rock Mountain. These retreats, for middle school and high school youth groups, are always an awesome opportunity to minister and connect with local churches and students. The name itself--THAW--is more significant than just a reference to the theoretical warming and melting that should happen in March. Rather, it is a reference to our prayer for these weekends; that God would use them to melt hardened hearts and soften and deepen a love for Him.

Happy February! We are in the middle of a busy winter retreat season here at Rock Mountain--and are celebrating that it finally looks like winter outside, with snow on the ground, and ice on the lake! Students coming to camp this month are excited for the winter weather, and the snow tubing that comes along with it! Between Winter Fun Nights (come join us tonight!), weekend retreats, and college camp fairs, February is a month full of ministry at camp, and anticipation for the upcoming summer.
Happy New Year! It is exciting to step into a new date, a new season and fresh opportunities to see God change lives at camp! This past year, we had hundreds of guests experience Truth, Community & Change through Jesus Christ while at Rock MOuntain. One group, during their Saturday evening service, focused on the theme of forgiveness--and provided time for students to take steps to make things right with God, as well as with those who had hurt them.
