January 2017 Remembering Rock

Happy New Year! It is exciting to step into a new date, a new season and fresh opportunities to see God change lives at camp! This past year, we had hundreds of guests experience Truth, Community & Change through Jesus Christ while at Rock MOuntain. One group, during their Saturday evening service, focused on the theme of forgiveness--and provided time for students to take steps to make things right with God, as well as with those who had hurt them. The students took the challenge seriously and spent the evening praying together, calling friends and family to begin restoration and crying out to the Source of ultimate healing and forgiveness. They were able to step into a new year without the burden of resentment and bitterness because of their time with God at camp. As we look ahead to a new year and step into a busy retreat season, we are eager to see what God will do in 2017. Thank you for your support and join us in praying for God to change lives at Rock Mountain.

  • Thank you! We are praising God and thankful for those who donated to the new seasonal staff housing project in the past month.
  • We are praising God for the projects we were able to complete in the past month to prepare for winter groups: fresh paint in the gym and gym bathrooms, additional serving lines in the dining room and several lighting projects around camp!
