True Identity: RMBC Summer 2018

WOW! Summer is here--and we are so excited about what God is doing this year at Rock Mountain Bible Camp. We have been exploring our theme: True Identity and learning about who God has called and made us to be. Our key verse this summer, 1 Peter 2:9 says, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."  As we enter into the next three weeks at camp: RMBC Teen Camp, RMBC Junior Camp, and serving guest groups, we are privileged to recognize that God has chosen us to be His people, His servants and to share that truth from 1 Peter: that we have been called out of darkness into light. Please be praying for this promise to be evident to our staff and campers as we pray for God to impact lives for eternity this summer!

Prayer Requests

-Pray for TRUTH: That God's Word would be proclaimed boldly; for camp speakers Alex Caldwell, Alisha Finn & John Antolick as they prepare and teach over the next three weeks; and that campers would hear and experience God's Truth about who they are in Christ, and the message of the gospel.

-Pray for COMMUNITY: Pray for our counselors as they beuild relationships with their campers and seek to point them to Christ. Pray for our campers to develop encouraging friendships as they have fun together. Pray for our staff, for strength, diligence and joy as we serve.

-Pray for CHANGE: That cameprs and staff would leave camp impacted by God's Word; that many would respond to the gospel and grow in their walk with Jesus as a result of their time at Rock Mountain.

-We are thanking God for lives impacted by the gospel already this summer: in June, one of our guest groups shared with us that 5 individuals made first-time professions of faith in Jesus Christ; we are rejoicing with them for God's work during their time at camp!

-We just completed a week of ministry with a Middle School Youth Group: As they split & stacked wood for fires & heating our Main Building, organized various work areas around camp and did several other projects, they were a huge blessing to us and our future guests and campers!

-Our seasonal staff team had a great time at Summer Orientation this year and have served with excellence our guests and campers; we are thankful for God's provision and work in and through our staff this summer.
